So, it was only natural when we were seeking ideas for cool things to do whilst in self-isolation that we
talked to our girl Kate for something uniquely entertaining and earth-lovin too.

DIY natural makeup is void of toxins, hormone disruptors and all the other nasty synthetic ingredients that interferes with both ours and the planets wellbeing.
With a mantra of – “If you wouldn’t eat it, don’t put it on your skin”
here’s Kate’s recipe for Mermaid Eyeliner & Mermaid Mascara.
MERMAID EYELINER
½ Tsp Arrowroot
½ Tsp Activated Charcoal
1 Tsp Aloe Vera Juice
Mix in a small jar or in a repurposed makeup container.
Repurpose a small angled brush to apply.
To make brown eyeliner, reduce charcoal by half and add ½ tsp cacao.
MERMAID MASCARA
½ Tsp Arrowroot
½ Tsp Activated Charcoal
1 Tsp Aloe Vera Juice
Mix in a small jar or in a repurposed makeup container.
Clean & repurpose a mascara brush to apply.
To make brown mascara, reduce charcoal by half and add ½ tsp cacao.
Remember to adjust your expectations, this is a very subtle eye-makeup.
