Our Makers: Jason
JASON - OUR WOVENS MAKER.
Jason is the longest standing maker in our Arnhem Makers family. One of our very first makers we started working together in 2012, Jason has worked on most of our well-known collections, including Primrose, Portofino, Spanish Rose and recently, Amberley.
Jason runs a small-scale garment manufacturing unit in Tongxiang, a rural area approximately a 2 hour drive outside of Shanghai. First started with his wife in 2010, Jason specialises in delicate, soft woven creations and is the expert when it comes to our intricate floral prints.
What we love about Jason: Our visit to meet Jason’s team inspired our ‘Revive’ project. We were amazed to see the off-cuts and remnants of fabric from our past collections utilised around the sampling and production rooms to make pin cushions, ropes for scissors and cushion covers for their chairs.
Main strengths: Jason has worked tirelessly with us and our fabric mills to develop our first sustainable fabrics. Jason specialises in delicate, soft woven creations and is the expert when it comes to our intricate floral prints.
