Our Most Sustainable Jersey Ever
Our Bells are back baby and better than ever!
Thanks to your feedback we’ve made our jersey softer, stronger and significantly more sustainable.
Our jersey bells have been an authentic Arnhem staple for as long as we can remember, but we are always striving to be more sustainable.
And it's safe to say we are over the moon with the work our team have produced.
Having being in development for 12 months, this one’s been a long and ambitious process.
An eco-responsible viscose fibre derived from certified renewable wood sources.
Marking a new stage in Lenzing’s sustainability journey, the LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres have been certified
by EU Eco label due to their high environmental standards.
This is evident from the extraction of raw materials to production, distribution and all the way through to disposal.
The process to make Lenzing ™ Ecovero ™ is far more sustainable than general viscose as
it generates 50% lower greenhouse gas emissions and 50% lower water impact.
The fibers can be identified both in the fabric and the final product demonstrating full supply chain transparency.
Not only is our fabric far more eco-friendly, we have responsibly switched from screen-printing to digital printing.
At Arnhem we are known for our kaleidoscopic patterns and colours that our clothes embody.
However we didn't want to continue producing our prints at the cost of the environment, which is why we switched to digital printing.
This process uses 55% less water and significantly less dye waste than screen-printing.
Screen-printing requires far more dyestuff,
which requires more water for the washing of the screens and the finishing process, leading to water contamination.
Digital printing is far cleaner as it is applied by ink jet and uses minimal colorant.
Our jersey has been tailored to the most sustainable of lifestyles, and is mindful of a cleaner and greener environment.
Feel good in these off-duty faves proudly knowing that you have taken one for the planet.
